PAUL NEWELL
DEMOCRATIC DISTRICT LEADER AD 65C
"I have known Wei-Li Tjong for over 30 years. His connection to our neighborhoods runs deep. I’ve also watched him as a leader – of residents on the Lower East Side, of a small business, and in the Democratic Party. In each of these roles, Wei-Li brings brilliance, thoughtfulness, and compassion. Above all, Wei-Li gets things done. Lower Manhattan will be well-served by him. I am proud to endorse Wei-Li Tjong for the 65th Assembly District."

VIC LEE
DEMOCRATIC STATE COMMITTEE MEMBER, AD 65
“Albany doesn't just need people who care about the right policies. It needs people who know how to build things and make them work. Wei-Li has built a law firm from the ground up and led a community of thousands. He understands that good legislation means nothing if it can't be implemented. That's a rare combination, and exactly what our district needs.”

Joseph Gordon
DEMOCRATIC DISTRICT LEADER AD 65A
“Wei-Li is far and away the best candidate to lead Assembly District 65 and I am proud to endorse him. His keen understanding of the specific issues that affect our district, borne from his lifelong residency in and longstanding service to the Lower East Side, are going to make him an effective and impactful assembly member on day one. He’s a builder of teams, a problem-solver and is ready to be of service to the entire community. I look forward to seeing all that he will accomplish for our district.”

JESSICA KRAMER
DEMOCRATIC DISTRICT LEADER AD 65A
“Wei-li and I have had the opportunity to work together on the Seward Park Cooperative Board and through our work together at Grand Street Dems and as local electeds on the Lower East Side. He’s a long time dedicated public servant who has always given back to this community. His legal background and local expertise make him a great candidate for the NY Assembly, where I know he’ll serve with dedication and a sense of justice for all New Yorkers. “

Citizens Union
OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK
"Wei-Li Tjong is a corporate attorney and president of the Seward Park Cooperative, a community of over 5,000 residents. He fully supported Citizens Union’s reform agenda and emphasized campaign finance reform as a top priority. During his interview, Citizens Union found he possessed detailed knowledge on CU’s issues, and we are confident that he would make reform a genuine priority. His legal background, involvement in local politics as a State Committeeman, and experience managing a large and diverse residential community at Seward Park gave Citizens Union confidence in his ability to navigate Albany effectively from day one. Citizens Union prefers Wei-Li Tjong in this race."

John Liu

“Wei-Li Tjong is exactly the kind of leader the Lower East Side and Chinatown need in Albany. As a lifelong resident and a dedicated public servant, Wei-Li has a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing this diverse district. His 23 years of service on the Seward Park Co-Op Board and his professional background as an attorney demonstrate a commitment to both shared prosperity and effective government. I am proud to support his candidacy because I know he will be a tireless champion for our families, our schools, and our shared values." -
